New Training Programs

Rob Virts from Montana:
“I am working on employer training which will target managers, supervisors, and HR/payroll staff to keep them abreast of retirement funding issues, and various other up to date info regarding retirement.

New NC Certified Training Specialist Course—4 sessions scheduled since last Oct, all filled w/ waiting list and requests for more

Tracy Connelly from Delaware:
” I am offering a new continuing education program for tax auditors which seems to be getting good reviews, especially from those who are not yet tax auditors (they can put the classes on their resumes).”

”New course for the Dept. of Transportation (in Louisiana) on Performance Measures – has been received better than I thought it would be … perhaps because that dept. is about to undergo a major structural reorganization, and this particular class will help with the goals/objectives, etc. part of the reorganization.”

Laurette Burdyl from South Carolina:
“We have been offering workforce planning educational sessions and consulting. The response has been very positive; we are providing agencies with up to date demographic data and training on workforce planning methods such as knowledge transfer. Also our HRPD program for HR/HRD professionals has been very well received.”
